I just dont know where I could start telling about him. Jan is really unic person and one kind of.

  I'd better start from the begin... It was summer 1999 when I saw first time Jan at hartwall areena, Jokerit interdused their new team.

  I knew immedetly that there was something different about him and I also liked his curly neck hair. I didnt talk with him untill the season started and it was really nice to chat with him and he was so friendly and kind.

  So I got really good impression about him and I was right he had something different.

  I got to know him more better and better during the season and so I did get to know his wife too.

  I like also his playing style, expecially when got to "fight" 

  Next season also Benda played in Jokerit and I noticed that his playing style had a little bit changed, he didnt take as much penaltys that he used to.

  This season I already knew Jan pretty well and he teased me a lot and it was pretty funny, because I did pretty funny things not knowing that and sometimes he reminded me of them. I also teased him what he had done, expecially at the game :D

  Jan had lot of humor, but then again he was really serious in certain things. He is really great person.

  This season did also play Jan's wife brother in the same league and his name is Jaroslav Bednar.

  Two seasons Jan played in Finland and they were great and lots of funny things and memories!

  I'm really glad that I got chanse to know him =)
